The Small Business Assistance Program was able to help Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hicks, owner and operators of Jewel Cleaners, with financial and regulatory assistance.
They have been in business for over 30 years. They had a well kept Detex Dry to Dry machine, a testimony of his many years of experience.
Benefits from the installation of the new MultiMatic machine were:

He added up the numbers and found he could save money by investing in a new machine, that would cut his operating expenses. So he received one of our low interest loans, through the Virginia Small Business Environmental Compliance Assistance Loan Fund, and purchased a brand new Hoffman Dry to Dry machine.
