The Virginia Waste Management Board is responsible for carrying out the purposes and provisions of the Virginia Waste Management Act, Chapter 14 of Title 10.1 of the Code of Virginia, and compatible federal act provisions. The board may promulgate and enforce such regulations as may be necessary to carry out the chapter and the applicable federal acts.
