Air Compliance
The main objective for the Air Compliance Program is to ensure that regulated facilities in Virginia are complying with applicable regulatory standards. Compliance activities are performed in 6 regional offices by air inspectors who conduct site evaluations, observe source emissions testing, and review a variety of federal and/or state required facility reports to determine the overall compliance status of more than 5,000 facilities.
The Office of Air Compliance Coordination (OACC) is responsible for assisting our regional staff in their work; managing federal fiscal commitments; providing training opportunities and regulatory information; participating in policy development; and assessing program effectiveness.
OACC also provides information and assistance throughout this site to the regulated facilities as well as the private community through various links, informational brochures and various tools as listed within these paragraphs or as seen below. This page offers a variety of downloadable Compliance Forms; Stage I/II Vapor Recovery Guidance Memo; Va. Reformulated Gas (RFG) Counties List and VDACS Fuel Regulation; compliance calendars (listed and provided below); as well as the Consumer Products Rule and a listing of Air Consultants (Rev: Jan.2012) who offer various air quality services/testing. When the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) promulgates new federal regulations for air sources links and/or other information can be found here in an outreach effort to provide the latest regulatory information available.
