East Side Landing - Chincoteague Island
Town of Chincoteague, Accomack County
A new floating dock greets you at East Side Landing. The floating dock was provided through the Virginia Seaside Heritage Program and funding from the Virginia Coastal Zone Management Program. Additional access to the water is available through a large boat ramp with docks on either side with ladders. East Side Boat Ramp is the preferred launch site for exploring Assateague Channel and connecting to the Assateague Island Canoe Trail. There is generally less powerboat activity here and to the north along Assateague Channel.

From US 13, East on Route 175, 10.2 Miles.Left on Main Street, 0.1 Miles.
Right on Church Street into East Side Road, 1.5 Miles.
Left into parking lot.
Ramp is straight ahead.
