This News Feed provides updates on all aspects of the solid waste program including permitting, compliance, groundwater, recycling, composting, planning, financial assurance, SWIA, and other elements. These updates include notification of draft Guidance available for review, final guidance issued, periodic reviews, issuance of ACLs, updates on items from the Solid Waste Stakeholder Conference and other program updates. This News Feed is the primary manner in which DEQ notifies interested stakeholder of these items including the opportunity to provide comments on Draft Guidance documents. If you sign up for this News Feed, you do not have to separately sign-up for the "Solid Waste Recycling, Composting, and Planning" News Feed as any item sent from that News Feed will be sent from this News Feed as well.
This News Feed provides targeted updates and information on aspects of the solid waste program involving recycling, composting, solid waste planning, and elements related to these areas or similar areas of the waste management hierarchy not including disposal. Only those aspects of solid waste permitting involving recycling or materials recovery are included in updates from this News Feed. This News Feed will include updates from the Solid Waste Stakeholder Conference on DEQ activities relating to these aspects of the solid waste program.
