The Piedmont Regional Office serves the counties of Amelia, Brunswick, Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Essex, Gloucester, Goochland, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, King and Queen, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Powhatan, Prince George, Richmond, Surry, Sussex and Westmoreland; and the cities of Colonial Heights, Emporia, Hopewell, Petersburg and Richmond.

Directions to the DEQ Piedmont Regional Office
The DEQ Piedmont Regional Office is located in the Innsbrook Corporate Center in the northwest quadrant of the greater Richmond metropolitan area.
From points north or east of downtown Richmond (e.g., from Washington, D.C., the Tidewater area or Richmond International Airport): Take Interstate 295 West to Exit 51B, Nuckols Road (Route 695). Travel south on Nuckols Road for 0.5 mile to the second traffic light. Turn left at the traffic light onto Cox Road. (An Innsbrook sign is located at the intersection of Cox and Nuckols.) Travel north on Cox Road for approximately 0.5 mile. You will pass Capital One on the right. After you pass the Capital One office building, you will see a single story building on the right. DEQ is located at the far end of this building. Turn right into the parking lot at the DEQ sign located at 4949-A Cox Road. Enter the building on the left side.
From downtown Richmond or points south: From I-95, take I-64 West to Exit 177, I-295. Travel east on I-295 for 1 mile to Exit 51B, Nuckols Road South (Route 695). Travel south on Nuckols Road for 0.5 mile to the second traffic light. Turn left at the traffic light onto Cox Road. (An Innsbrook sign is located at the intersection of Cox and Nuckols.)
