Final 2004 305(b)/303(d) Water Quality
Assessment Integrated Report
Approved by EPA on September 7, 2004
The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) released the Final 2004 305(b)/303(d) Water Quality Assessment Integrated Report (Integrated Report) on September 20, 2004.
The Integrated Report combines both the 305(b) Water Quality Assessment and the 303(d) Report on Impaired Waters. This report was available for public comment from March 22, 2004 through April 23, 2004. Comments were received from the public and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In response to comments, the report was revised and resubmitted to EPA in August 2004 and later approved.
Copies of the final report and associated maps on CDs are available and can be ordered by clicking HERE at no charge. Hard copies of the final maps are available for a fee. They can be ordered by clicking HERE, printing the order form, filling it out and mailing it to DEQ at the address indicated on the form with a check payable to "Treasurer of Virginia". Please memo your check with "2004 IR maps".
